Skateboard Deck Powell Peralta O.G. Rodriguez Skull & Sword Snub Brite Lite

The Rodriguez "Skull & Sword" deck, the first pro signature deck graphic created by Powell-Peralta, was introduced in 1979. The idea for the graphic was conceived by Ray and illustrated by V.C. Johnson, under the art direction of George Powell. Initially, the deck was released in two different shapes: a 10" x 30" "Widetail" version and a 10" x 28.5" "Snub Nose," available in "Brite-Lite" Dayglo yellow, orange, purple, and green colors. Over the years, the deck was produced in various color options, with the addition of a Powell-Peralta logo. By 1983, Ray's signature was replaced with a Powell-Peralta script logo. The graphic was also utilized for T-shirts and stickers.
