Steve Caballero Chinese Dragon Deck by Powell Peralta

In 1986, Caballero's deck graphic underwent a transformation after a successful six-year run. The new design, named the Cab Chinese Dragon, was introduced just in time for the filming of the Animal Chin video. Inspired by a Chinese takeout box, the intricate artwork was illustrated by VCJ. This dragon graphic was featured on a new "fish" shape deck, available in both full size and mini versions. Crafted from 7-ply maple with "Bonite" construction, the Cab Chinese Dragon deck was discontinued in 1987.

Originally released in 1986, the Cab Chinese Dragon deck was a creation of Vernon Courtlandt Johnson. The deck boasted a long 4 - 2.5" old school truck hole pattern, characteristic of Powell-Peralta re-issue decks. These re-issues stay true to their 1980's counterparts, showcasing the original Pro graphics, shape, top graphic logo, and concave. Crafted in the Santa Barbara skateboard factory under the watchful eye of skilled craftsmen, the Powell-Peralta re-issue decks maintain the quality and nostalgia of the past.

The Cab Chinese Dragon deck measures 10" in width and 30" in length, with a wheelbase of 15". The deck features a nose length of 3.875" and a tail length of 7", with a truck hole pattern of Long 4 - 2.5" Old School Truck Hole Pattern. The shape of the deck is identified as 150, with a concave rating of SP3.
